Summary: During their last Summer together, before everyone goes off to University College, the Anubis residents go to an old mansion for Appie's birthday. During Appie's birthday party, once the clock hits 12, the mansion becomes haunted: the piano plays on its own and behind a closed door there is a haunted ride. When one of them goes missing, it's no longer fun and games. Are they just scaring each other? Or is the house really haunted?
When they slowly disappear one by one, Appie is convinced a vengeful vampire lives in the house and he wants to destroy him. Nienke has doubts though, because why does she find messages about friendship and loneliness all over the house? Who's the strange man walking through the hallways? A helper of the vampire, or is he trying to tell them something?
